Madonna Wade-Reed

“I love APM for so many reasons. It is by far one of the best-curated sources for music out there. Not only is the selection vast and diverse but they really understand what they have and how to describe it, " Wade-Reed said. "When I do a search online, I can drill down with all kinds of prompts and words, and I will always see a result…no matter how crazy some of my descriptions are. Best of all, if I need help, there is always someone readily available to help me, do a pull or help guide me in the right direction. Hands down they are the best of the best.”
Madonna Wade-Reed is an independent music supervisor for film and television and owner of Whoopsie Daisy. She worked on several high-profile shows such as the ABC series American Crime, the CW series Reign, and the MTV series The Shannara Chronicles. Her film credits include work on Lovesick, A Thousand Words, and My Boss’s Daughter.

Tiffany Anders

“APM music is hands down my favorite music library, from archival recordings that have the recording quality you may need for a time period set project, to the most current sounds, I know I'll always find what I'm looking for here. Sarah Scarlata and Adam Weitz are my key ears when I'm on a search and they always are able to provide options that suit my needs.”
Los Angeles native, Tiffany Anders, grew up with a lust for music, seeking out bands and attending live shows at a very early age. Moving through Seattle and New York, her youthful enthusiasm led to a recording career of her own. She started singing backup for other bands before releasing her solo debut album, Funny Cry Happy Gift. The album was produced by rock icon PJ Harvey and released to critical acclaim by Up Records (alongside Built to Spill and Modest Mouse).
Tiffany parlayed her passion for and knowledge of music with work as a music supervisor. Acclaimed directors Drake Doremus and James Ponsoldt sought her taste-making music supervision for films like Like Crazy, Breathe In, Equals, Smashed, The End of the Tour, and The Circle. Her supervision success continued on television with hit shows like FXX's You're the Worst, Netflix's 90s-set comedy series Everything Sucks! and the lauded drama Sorry for Your Loss.

I have always been impressed with the speed and precision of song pitches from the APM team as well as the ease of navigation of APM’s music search engine. APM is one of my absolute go-to’s for fulfilling music needs, and while they are top notch, they continue to push for ways to improve the search experience for their clients. Quality music with exemplary service. “

Michelle Johnson

"The very first place I turn to no matter what project I’m working on is APM. I love the site. I love the search engine. I love the incredible volume of years and years of great tracks in every genre you could ever need. And I love the people that work at APM. They are fun, creative and professional to work with. Truly a great company!"
Michelle Johnson is the fun, fearless music supervisor behind some of TV’s most lovable and laugh-out-loud shows like Grace and Frankie, Love, and Nobodies. Before landing in Los Angeles, Michelle was living a full-on music life in New York City, playing in bands and spinning tracks as a DJ. That creative hustle eventually led her west, where she scored a gig as a music coordinator at SuperMusicVision, the company run by legendary music supervisor Thomas Golubić.
She hit the ground running, learning fast and working on iconic series like Breaking Bad, The Walking Dead, Ray Donovan, and Halt and Catch Fire. These days, Michelle is a major player at the company, leading the charge on big-name projects and bringing her signature taste and heart to every scene she touches.

Jonathan Leahy

When we think of library music, we often think of nameless, faceless instrumentals that are meant to blend into the background as sonic wallpaper. This playlist showcases what I consider the hidden strength of the APM catalog: vocal recordings from legendary artists. In this playlist you'll hear the incredible voices of Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, Rabbi and cantor Sholom Katz, and Edda Dell'Orso, among many others. I have no idea what the thunderous Welsh choir is singing in "Unwaith Eto Nghymru Annwyl" but I know I'm reduced to tears by the end of the recording. These are library tracks that can handle the heavy lifting, from Wes Andersonianizing your scene ("Organ Fugue Bwv 542 A") to Quentin Tarantinofication ("Bassa Padana" / "Lone Stepbrother") or even replace a familiar classic from the King himself ("Plaisir D'Amour"). I'm in love with these recordings, they deserve to not just be heard, but featured.
Jonathan Leahy is a Grammy and Emmy-nominated music supervisor and BMI award-winning composer. Recent projects include Swarm, Welcome To Chippendales, City On Fire, Single Drunk Female, A Million Little Things, Heels, and Julia.

Morgan Rhodes

"There's a lot to love about APM, but one of my favorite thing is probably their collection of authentic archival tracks. I'm always so amazed by their new acquisitions - how pristine they sound and how well they play. Secondly, I love how much thought has gone into metadata. Splits, PRO info, BPM, etc., all of this information is vital to have on hand for busy music supervisors. Finally, all bases (niches) are covered. I don't think there's ever been a time where a deep dive on the site didn't yield results. Again, there's a lot to love about APM."
Morgan Rhodes is an LA-based music supervisor, best known for her work on the Golden Globe- and Academy Award-nominated Selma, directed by Ava DuVernay. The film also won both a Golden Globe and an Oscar for best original song for Glory. Morgan’s collaboration with DuVernay began in 2012 with the critically acclaimed Sundance hit Middle of Nowhere, which led to her winning the African American Film Critics Award for Best Music. Their collaboration continued on short films The Door for Miu Miu’s 2013 Spring campaign, and Say Yes for Fashion Fair, the world’s largest black cosmetics company.
More recently, Morgan’s work has been featured in the acclaimed series Dear White People and Malcolm D. Lee’s Space Jam: A New Legacy. Her upcoming projects include the HBO Max series Young Love from Academy-award winner Matthew Cherry and Sam Bazawule’s The Color Purple from producers Quincy Jones, Steven Spielberg, and Oprah Winfrey.
Since the early days of cutting her teeth as an on-air personality at influential independent radio station KCRW, Morgan has spent several years as a music programmer with shows on Philadelphia’s WURD 900AM and L.A.’s KPFK. Her blend of avant-garde R&B, left-field soul, electropop, beats, dance and world music has won listeners both domestically and globally. She is also a featured music critic on KPCC’s weekly music installment, Tuesday Reviewsday.
Morgan’s love of discovering rare music finds lends itself to digging for precious archival material and long-forgotten releases as well as scouring record stores for compelling new supplemental sounds. Ebony Magazine (Feb 2013) called her “Black Music’s Newest Tastemaker.”
She is always in search of the perfect beat, song and conversation about music.

The opportunity to combine her passion for film & TV, her love of music, and extensive knowledge of both mediums came in 2016 when she landed her first position as the music coordinator on Paul Schrader’s Dog Eat Dog. Soon afterward she began working alongside music supervisor Tiffany Anders, learning the many intricacies of music clearance and creative placement.
Taylor has contributed to award-winning and critically acclaimed projects such as Beef (A24/Netflix), Reservation Dogs (FX), and Pen15 (Hulu).
